Digital Designer

This digital and marketing agency are working exclusively for a leading travel client. You'll be part of a team whose sole focus is on the client's digital efforts so this is very much akin to a client side role.

As one of the world's largest guided holiday operators, the client opens the door to unforgettable travel experiences. They have nearly 70 years experience and more travel awards than anyone else in the industry.

The digital marketing team form a core part of the companies strategic vision, and represents a key channel in their global marketing and sales plan. They're on the hunt for a highly experienced and intelligent digital designer to join the team. You will be working on global, world-class campaigns and projects and be the driving force behind the creation and delivery of a range of cross-platform digital work.

You'll be a visual geek with an insatiable curiosity for problem solving with form and function. You will also need to be a personable self-starter that can liaise and collaborate with our talented and passionate team in delivering engaging and inspiring creative that translates across the digital platforms.

Role requirement in brief:

Create standout visual design concepts for global and regional marketing campaign briefs

Ability to work to a brief, on time and to a high standard

Concepting your ideas while considering how these ideas can work across all digital channels

Communicate your ideas quickly and effectively, using sketches, wireframes, comps or prototypes as necessary

Evolve the brand's visual identity, working in line with the current style guide

Working with multiple stakeholders to prioritise deliverables

A passion for challenges, team player with the patience to listen


Exceptional core graphic design skills across typography, layout and artworking

Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Apps - Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign are essential

Be able to explain and justify design decisions based on best practice and/or previous results/experience

In depth knowledge of file formats, specifications and production workflow structure

A strong portfolio demonstrating flexibility and a range of skills across creative, artworking and digital

Exceptional attention to detail

HTML5 Banner creation, Adobe Animate, Google Web designer or similar

Working knowledge of HTML and CSS

Understanding of current visual, creative and digital trends

Design from commercial and marketing based principles

Desirable skills:

Animation experience eg; After Effects, principle or similar

Video editing eg. Premiere pro, Final cut pro or similar

Prototyping experience eg; sketch, Invision or other

Additional languages

Agency experience is favoured although not essential
